It has been a minute since I wrote last. One thing I am learning about life with a TBI (traumatic brain injury) is that we cannot procrastinate as we don’t have any idea what tomorrow will hold.
As many people do, I struggle at times with my creative flow, often not meeting my own expectations. I am usually quite gentle with myself these days as berating myself has proven to have less than zero value. Writing has become an important part of my spiritual journey, so much so that I have been working on creating a proper blog called Awakening Light and a second one called Coming Through the Darkness, life after concussion. So, when I can’t write it can be very scary for me, when I am scared, I often hide or freeze. This is a newer behavior as I used to put my head down and just bulldoze my way through, lol! But, today is a new day and we can only start from where we are (really, where else can we start from!)
Since I will start, again, from where I am I thought I would write a mini series over the next couple of weeks about exactly that, where I am today on my journey; along with the tools I have learned, the ones I am still absorbing, and what I am preparing for.
I hope you will join me on this journey of becoming The Awakening Light (and I hope you will let your own Light shine along the way)
Brightest of blessings,
