To me, it means letting go of anything that does not bring you closer to love. It means releasing anything that is not being done WITH love.

What beliefs or old stories are holding you back from living your best life? From being the best version of you each day?

It feels like now, more than ever, we are acting from the perspective of shouldHow should we think, feel, speak, behave? Or sometimes we are behaving from the resentment that was born in should. We have been programmed to take care ourselves or not to take care of ourselves. That to check in, and do what is in our own highest good, is selfish. We have been taught to either give up our own needs, or to step on someone elses. But what if instead, we did neither and we paused? What if we began to explore the path to our own truth without judgement? What if we supported each other to stand in our own unique truth, without requiring that someone elses truth be the same as our own?

How do we do this, you might ask?

We start by really looking at each other. Do you see me? I promise to see you. We are Divine Beings, being divine. This means we are meant to be inspired, then create. To play full out I life. Whether this is at home, work, in relationships, art, or any other area of our lives, we are doing so because we choose to. We take responsibility for our choices and actions AND we let others do the same. The greatest way I can assist anyone to become consciously empowered is by becoming that myself. As Marianne Williamson said, by letting your own light shine you unconsciously give others the permission to do the same.

There are no right or wrong answers, just a simple remembering of who and what we are.

Does this thought or action bring me closer to Love or does it push me further away?

This is where daily rituals come in. A foundation each day so that we can show up as the person we choose to be. For me, my best begins with reading, journaling, and contemplating in the morning. Then exercise, yoga, and meditation. In meditation we find the pause in our breath, our body, and our mind. In that pause is pure awareness. It’s not so much about what is done on the mat or seat, as it is how we carry it forward into each day. From this awareness I can see you, and I can love all. I can return to non-judgement a little quicker and find unconditional love once again.

In the brilliant words of Fiona Black

Do you know why I love you?

Do I love you because you are smart? Beautiful? Witty? Because you agree with me or believe in the same things I do?

No.

I love you simply because you exist.

Brightest of blessings
